Prepare yourselves boys...even the toughest wrestlers could get crushed by this challenge.
So what is Fight Gone Bad? It was designed by CrossFit for their
growing number of MMA fighter trainees. Its format is like that of a MMA
fight. In other words, 3 rounds that simulate a "fight to the death"
metabolically.
THE WORKOUT
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.
This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed
before repeating. Complete 3 rounds of:
1. Wall-ball shots (10/14/20) pound ball, 9 ft target. (Reps)
2. Deadlift high-pull (55/65/75) pounds (Reps)
3. Box Jumps 20 inch box (Reps)
4. Push-press (50/60/80, Dumbell totals) pounds (Reps)
5. Row calories (Calories)
There will be a sliding scale of weight required by your wrestling weight class.
Weight Class Breakdown: 103-125 / 130-165 / and up
The
clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate,"
the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One
point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is
one point.
Total points for each team will be tallied. The team with the most points is the victor. No bloodshed required.
